janeJane Elizabeth McNulty, owner of Piano For Pleasure teaches and facilitates Recreational Music Making .  Jane has been teaching piano for over 15 years.  

The daughter of Jazz Pianist, Maynard Johnson and Master Piano teacher, Nancy Johnson, her career in music started at a very young age.  After studying music and pedagogy, Jane entered the Air Force where she was an award-winning performer with the elite entertainment showcase, the USAF Tops In Blue.  She performed with a traveling showcase entertaining troops around the world as well as major events and venues such as the NBC Bob Hope Birthday Special, Walt Disney World, Caesar’s Palace, and the Super Bowl XIX Halftime Show.

Her unique ability to instill the love and fun of music has left a lifetime mark on students of all ages.   She now brings that passion as well as her joy for music to the exciting world of Recreational Music Making.

Jane’s goal with Music for Everyone is to give people in different interest groups the opportunity to explore the value of music–whether in listening or performing–in their daily lives.

In addition to her work with musicians through her studio, Jane is also the Chair of the Education and Outreach Committee with the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra board.
